KIDs' MASS
As with regular services, Kid's Mass services are on Sundays at 10 AM. Bring your kids, and and an open mind and an open heart!
On the first Sunday of every month, the children of St. Augustine of Canterbury are lectors, reading the lessons. And every Sunday one of the children is the acolyte, carrying the cross during the processions, holding the book during the Gospel reading, ringing the Sanctus bells during the Eucharistic Prayer, and serving the chalice during Communion.
St. Augustine has experience in active inclusion of our children in Sunday service, by giving kids roles such as acolyte, sermon readers and assisting in the processions and preparing the Eucharist during Communion.
